Urgo Urgotul Absorb 13 cm x 12 cm is indicated for the treatment of all chronic (pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) and acute (2nd-degree burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds) exuding wounds. It can also be used for the local treatment of cancerous wounds in conjunction with their specific treatment. Due to its non-adhesive nature, Urgotul Absorb is recommended for wound treatment when the peri-wound skin is fragile.

How to Use

Cleanse the wound with saline solution. Apply UrgoTulthen cover with a secondary dressing and secure with the Nylex band. Change every 2 to 4 days, and every 1 to 3 days for epidermolysis bullosa wounds.

Precautions for Use

The micro-adherent lipido-colloid mass Urgotul Absorb adheres to latex surgical gloves, so it is recommended to handle the product avoiding any contact with the coated side or using sterile forceps. In the presence of clinical signs of local infection, treatment may, at the discretion of the physician, be relayed by an antibacterial dressing Urgocell Ag . This dressing is for single use: reusing a disposable dressing can lead to infection risks. Do not re-sterilize the dressing. Store Urgotul Absorbdressing away from humidity, heat (temperature below 25°C). Protect from light.
