Purasana freeze-dried Acai berry powder is made from Acai berries. These grape-like berries grow along the banks of the Amazon in Brazil and are considered a fruit naturally containing a multitude of nutrients.
Acai berries are rich in vitamins, fibre, minerals and antioxidants (which explains the high ORAC value). These elements are preserved through the freeze-drying process. When Acai berries are ripe, they are harvested and freeze-dried into organic Acai Berry powder.
Purasana Acai berry powder can be used in smoothies, salads, cocktails and even for making ice cream.
