La présence de plaque dentaire est le principal facteur de développement des deux maladies bucco-dentaires les plus répandues : la maladie parodontale (qui affecte les gencives) et la carie. Le digluconate de chlorhexidine a prouvé son activité anti-plaque.
INDICATIONS
L'hygiène bucco-dentaire dans les cas de traitements parodontaux, chirurgicaux et péri-implantaires :
Favorise la réduction de la plaque dentaire.
Soigne et protège les gencives.
Durée du traitement : 1 à 2 semaines, ou selon les recommandations du dentiste
Il est conseillé de ne pas manger, ni boire pendant au moins une demi-heure après son usage.
MODE D'EMPLOI
Après l'hygiène buccale, appliquez le gel 2 ou 3 fois par jour avec une brosse à dents souple ou un coton-tige, en massant doucement les gencives. Il doit être utilisé après les repas et il est recommandé de ne pas manger ou boire pendant au moins une demi-heure après son utilisation. La plus grande efficacité est obtenue lors des applications de nuit. Ne rincez pas.

Conserver hors de portée des enfants.
Il est contre-indiqué chez les patients qui ont montré une réaction d'hypersensibilité à la chlorhexidine.
Ne pas utiliser au-delà de la période indiquée par le dentiste.
