Hartmann Hydroclean Advance Cavite

The Hydroclean Cavity dressing from Hartmann is designed for the moist treatment of deep, chronic or difficult-to-heal wounds, whether exuding or dry. It can reactivate an interrupted healing process.

It is composed of a superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP) impregnated with a Ringer's solution and a protective film. This Ringer's solution is composed of sodium chloride, potassium and calcium. The components of this solution and their concentrations are intended to mimic those of plasma.

Hydroclean Advance Cavity is an irrigo-absorbent hydrogel dressing. It continuously releases Ringer's solution into the wound for up to three days. This solution irrigates the wound, softens necrotic tissues and fibrin, and stimulates budding.
Conversely, exudates and tissue debris present in the wound are attracted and trapped by the superabsorbent polyacrylate, which allows for exudate control and a reduction in bacterial load.
This irrigo-absorbent process continues as long as the superabsorbent polyacrylate particles in the pad have the capacity to trap and release Ringer's solution.

The wound is rapidly debrided and cleaned to make way for healthy granulation tissue, predicting wound closure without delay.

Hydroclean Advance Cavity does not contain latex, phthalates or colophony.
